Floating Questions
What should I bring?
We provide towels, earplugs, toiletries and hairdrying stations. You may want to bring:
- A hairbrush, comb, and any personal grooming products.
- Storage for contact lenses.
After your float, enjoy complimentary refreshments in our Reflection Space “The Moon Room”.
What should I wear?
Most guests float without clothing for maximum relaxation, but swimwear is welcome if you prefer. Our float rooms are private and secure.
Do I need to prepare?
Simply arrive 10 minutes before your session (15 minutes if it’s your first time), and we’ll take care of the rest.
How long should I float?
Sessions are typically 1 hour, with options for 90 minutes, any longer please feel free to chat to us to see what is available.
New starter sessions are available – Float Starter Experience, 3 session pass
Is it safe to fall asleep in the pod?
Yes! The high salt concentration keeps you buoyant, so even if you fall asleep, you will remain safely afloat.
What if I’m claustrophobic?
The pod is spacious, with a full airflow system and LED lights you control. The lid can remain open or ajar if needed.
Can I bring a friend?
Each pod is for single users only, but with two identical rooms, you and a friend can book floats simultaneously. Book both rooms to receive 10% off each session.

What happens if I roll over or get salt in my eyes?
It’s difficult to roll over due to the buoyancy of the water. If you do get salt in your eyes, a spray bottle is within reach in each pod for relief.
How clean is the water in a Floatation Tank?
Our tanks use a powerful filtration system, cycling all water four times through UV purification, hydrogen peroxide sterilisation, and a 1-micron filter between sessions. The high concentration of Epsom salts creates a naturally antibacterial environment, ensuring water cleanliness.
What ages can float?
We welcome clients aged 18 and older. Exceptions may be made for health-related cases with adult supervision and prior approval.
Do I need to know how to swim?
No, the buoyant salt solution prevents you from sinking, making swimming unnecessary.
What should I expect from my first float?
Floatation Therapy, or REST, provides physical and mental relaxation. Many first-time users need a bit of time to acclimate, so consider repeat sessions for deeper relaxation and the fullest benefits.
Can I float if I’m pregnant?
Yes, with your doctor’s approval. The floatation tank can offer comfort by reducing the strain of gravity. However, we recommend avoiding floats during the first trimester.
Who shouldn’t float?
If you have epilepsy, heart conditions, or an ear infection, consult your doctor before floating. Please review our terms and conditions when booking to ensure floatation is right for you.
After Your Float
After your session, relax in our Reflection Space “The Moon Room”, where you’ll find hot and cold refreshments, books, and art for a calming post-float experience.
