Float Therapy Liability Waiver & Professional Agreement

At Float Space, we are dedicated to providing you with an exceptional and safe experience. Please carefully review and agree to the following policies and information:

Facilities:

  • We provide the following amenities: towels, earplugs, petroleum jelly, shampoo, body wash, shower facilities, and hair-drying amenities.
  • Safety: Please be cautious, as floors may be wet, increasing the risk of slipping or falling.
  • Cleanliness: Our facility is cleaned and disinfected between each session, with the water in the float pods filtered through a state-of-the-art system to maintain cleanliness. This system includes:
    • UV light purification
    • Hydrogen peroxide sterilization
    • 1-micron filtration
      Every ounce of water is cycled through this system four times between each float, ensuring crystal-clear water.

Restrictions:

  • You must be 18 years or older to float, or 16 with parental/guardian consent.
  • Certain medical conditions (e.g., epilepsy, heart conditions) may prevent you from floating or using infrared saunas. Please consult with your physician beforehand.
  • You must be able to enter and exit the float room or pod unassisted.

Safety Procedures:

  • For your safety, if there is no response to knocking, lights, or music controls during your session, our staff reserves the right to enter your float room at any time.

Fees:

  • Float sessions are available in 60, 90, and 120-minute options, with varying fees depending on the service package. Payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Sauna sessions are limited to 30 minutes per session for safety reasons.
  • Fees are subject to change.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
  • If cancelled within 24 hours, you will be billed a ÂŁ25.00 fee for float sessions or a ÂŁ15.00 fee for sauna sessions, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
  • Members: If a member cancels within 24 hours or does not arrive, they forfeit a session from their membership balance.

Agreement:

By booking a session at Float Space, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the following terms:

I will NOT use the floatation tank or pod if:

  • I have not thoroughly showered, including washing off oils, creams, or makeup.
  • I have had any hair color or treatment within the past two weeks.
  • I am under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • I have a communicable or infectious skin condition, disorder, or disease.
  • I have open sores or wounds.
  • I am diabetic, unless my diabetes is under medical control.
  • I have a history of heart problems, epilepsy, seizures, or blackouts and have not received my doctor’s permission to float.
  • I am experiencing a heavy menstrual period or external vaginal episode without appropriate protection.
  • I have a skin condition that may be adversely affected by magnesium absorption.
  • I have kidney disease.
  • I have incontinence or experience voluntary or involuntary release of bodily fluids.

Contamination and Liability:

  • I understand that if I contaminate the float tank (e.g., through bodily fluids, hair dye, etc.), I will be responsible for a salt replacement fee of up to ÂŁ600.00.
  • I understand that I choose to use floatation therapy of my own free will and will not hold Float Space or Palm Springs Ltd. liable for any injury sustained during a session or while on the premises, including slips due to wet floors.
  • Float Space reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

Acknowledgement:

I have read, understood, and agree to all the terms and policies outlined above. By booking a session at Float Space, I acknowledge that I have agreed to this waiver and all the associated terms.
