Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 17 February 2026

By booking a session at Float Space, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
If booking on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have their authority to accept these terms.
If you have any questions or require clarification, please contact us prior to booking.

Pre-Session Guidelines

Before attending your session, please note:

• Avoid caffeine within 4 hours.
• Avoid a large meal within 1 hour.
• Do not wax within 24–48 hours.
• Do not shave within 12–24 hours.
• Following childbirth, wait a minimum of 4 weeks (we recommend 8 weeks).
• Do not float with new tattoos or piercings until fully healed (minimum 3–4 weeks).

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in your session being declined without refund.

If you are unsure whether it is safe for you to book a floatation therapy session, please contact the spa by email or phone before booking.

Mobility & Accessibility

Float Space is ground floor with ramp access.

Clients must be able to enter and exit the float pod and facilities independently.
If assistance is required, you must bring a suitable person who is physically able to assist you.

Please note that all showers have a step-up entry.

Treatment Order & Booking Responsibility

To ensure safety and the best therapeutic experience, Massage Therapy must not be booked before a Floatation Therapy or Infrared Sauna session on the same day.

If treatments are booked in an incorrect order, Float Space reserves the right to contact you to rearrange the appointment sequence.

Where possible, we will amend the booking to ensure the correct treatment order on the same day. If this is not possible due to availability, we will offer an alternative date to accommodate the correct order.

If you choose not to proceed with the amended treatment order, the booking will be treated as a client cancellation, and our standard cancellation terms will apply.

For the best therapeutic results and comfort, the recommended treatment order is:

• Sauna → Float → Massage
• Sauna → Massage
• Sauna → Float
• Float → Massage

The only exception to the above is Float → Sauna, which may be accommodated where requested.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure treatments are booked in the correct order at the time of booking.

Age & Supervision Policy

Floatation therapy is available to all ages, subject to the following supervision requirements:

• Children under 13 must have a parent or legal guardian present in the room during the session.
• Bookings for children under the age of 13 must be made directly with the spa via phone or email and cannot be booked online.

A parent or legal guardian must complete and accept all relevant waivers and provide written consent prior to the session.

Parents or guardians are fully responsible for the supervision, behaviour, and safety of minors attending the spa.

We welcome neurodiverse children and those with additional needs; however, it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure the child is comfortable, safe, and suitable for floatation therapy.

Float Space reserves the right to refuse or end a session at management discretion where safety or suitability is in question.

Photo ID may be requested.

Behaviour Expectations

Clients must follow staff instructions and behave respectfully toward other guests and staff.

Inappropriate, disruptive, unsafe, or non-compliant behaviour may result in your session being terminated without refund.

Float Space reserves the right to refuse service at management discretion where safety, hygiene, or policy compliance is in question.

In the event of a pricing or website error, we reserve the right to cancel or amend bookings made at incorrect rates.

Individual experiences with floating vary; results and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

If you have a complaint, please notify us during your visit or via email. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
