3. Floatation Therapy
Floatation therapy sessions are available for 60 or 90 minutes.
Our floatation pods contain a highly concentrated magnesium sulphate (Epsom salt) solution maintained at a comfortable temperature.
The experience involves floating independently in the pod.
Customers can open the pod lid whenever they wish.
The assistance button is located on the left-hand side inside the pod. If you need help, press the button to alert staff.
Customers must follow the preparation and safety instructions provided before their appointment.
Floatation — When You Must Not Attend
Please do not use a floatation pod if any of the following apply:
- You have vomiting, diarrhoea, gastroenteritis or another illness that could contaminate the water.
- You are within 14 days of diarrhoea or vomiting associated with a gastrointestinal infection.
- You have a contagious or infectious condition that presents a risk to others.
- You have open, bleeding or infected wounds, skin ulcers or unhealed tattoos or piercings.
- You are experiencing incontinence or cannot reliably control the release of urine or faeces.

- You are significantly intoxicated or impaired.
- You are unable to safely enter, use or exit the pod under the agreed assistance arrangements.

Do not enter the pod if there is a current risk of significant bodily fluid contamination.

- A history of fainting, blackouts or unexplained loss of consciousness.
- Heart disease, arrhythmia, unstable blood pressure or significant circulatory problems.

- Any other condition that may affect your ability to float safely.
Some conditions may be compatible with floatation following an individual assessment or suitable medical advice.

4. Floatation Age & Supervision Requirements
Our standard floatation sessions are available to adults aged 18 and over.
We also provide designated teen floatation sessions for customers aged 12–17, Monday to Wednesday, subject to availability.

If you are uncertain about suitability, please contact us before travelling to your appointment.
Jewellery and Personal Items
The magnesium sulphate solution may tarnish, corrode or damage certain metals and accessories.
Customers must remove jewellery and other affected items before entering the pod.
We ask customers to follow this precaution to help prevent damage to personal property and contamination of the water.
Any claim relating to damage or contamination will be assessed according to the circumstances and applicable law.
6. Floatation Pod Contamination & Recovery Costs
Significant contamination of a floatation pod may require the pod to be completely drained, cleaned, disinfected and refilled with fresh water and Epsom salts.
This may involve approximately 48 hours of treatment and temporary closure.
The estimated cost of restoration and associated disruption may be £650–£800, depending on the incident.
Where a customer is legally responsible for recoverable losses, we may seek reimbursement of reasonable and evidenced costs.
These may include:
- Replacement Epsom salts and water.
- Cleaning and disinfection materials.
- Staff labour.
- Replacement filters and consumables.
- Heating and filtration costs.
- Demonstrable lost profit resulting from closure.
The estimated amount is not an automatic fee or penalty.
Every incident will be assessed individually, including the circumstances, reasonable costs and steps taken to minimise financial loss.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for further information.
7. Infrared Sauna
Our full-spectrum infrared sauna sessions are normally 45 minutes.
The sauna operates at temperatures of up to approximately 65°C.
The duration of the booking does not mean you should remain continuously exposed to high heat for the full 45 minutes.

If you begin to feel unwell, stop using the sauna immediately.

At subsequent appointments, your therapist will ask about relevant changes to your health.
Please answer all questions honestly.
Massage — When Treatment Must Be Postponed or Avoided
Please do not attend for massage if you have:
- A fever or acute systemic illness.
- An infectious condition that may place the therapist or others at risk.
- Suspected or confirmed acute deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism or another active blood clot.
- An unexplained hot, swollen or painful limb that may indicate a blood clot.
- A current medical emergency or serious unexplained symptoms.
- An unstable medical condition for which treatment has not been assessed as safe.
Treatment must also be avoided directly over:
- Infectious skin lesions.
- Open or infected wounds.
- Acute injuries where massage is unsafe.
- Suspected fractures.
- Areas of active bleeding.
- Other sites where pressure may cause harm.
In some cases, treatment of unaffected areas may still be possible following appropriate assessment.
Massage — Conditions Requiring Assessment or Adaptation
Please inform your therapist before booking if you have:
- Cancer or are receiving cancer treatment.
- A history of blood clots.
- Cardiovascular disease or significant blood pressure problems.

- Pregnancy or recent childbirth.
- Implants, medical devices or other relevant physical limitations.
Some of these conditions may require reduced pressure, different positioning, avoidance of particular areas, a different technique or medical advice.
Cancer and Massage
A cancer diagnosis does not automatically mean all massage is unsafe.
However, massage may need specialist adaptations during or after cancer treatment.
Deep pressure may be unsuitable in certain circumstances, including areas affected by tumours, radiation changes, fragile tissue or increased bleeding risk.
Where necessary, we may ask for relevant advice from your oncology team or recommend a practitioner with specialist oncology massage training.
Pregnancy Massage
We normally offer pregnancy-adapted massage from the second trimester.
An individual consultation will be completed to identify relevant complications, positioning requirements and treatment adaptations.
Pregnancy massage must remain within the therapist’s training and insurance cover.
We do not currently offer routine first-trimester massage under our business policy.
Hot Stones, Cupping and Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Some therapies have additional precautions.
Hot stones: Reduced heat sensation, neuropathy, fragile skin and heat sensitivity may make the treatment unsuitable.
Cupping: Increased bruising or bleeding risk, anticoagulant medicines, fragile skin and certain vascular conditions may make cupping unsuitable or require adaptations.
Manual lymphatic drainage: Acute infection, suspected blood clots, unexplained swelling and certain significant heart or kidney conditions require particular assessment and may prevent treatment.
Your therapist will explain relevant restrictions before proceeding.
9. Massage Consent, Clothing & Professional Boundaries
Clients are required to wear appropriate underwear during treatments involving undressing.
Fresh, clean sheets are provided for each client and used for covering and professional draping throughout the treatment.
Only the area of the body being treated will be uncovered where necessary, maintaining client privacy, dignity and comfort at all times.
The therapist will explain the proposed treatment and obtain appropriate consent.
Clients may:
- Ask questions.
- Request changes in pressure.
- Decline a technique.
- Request an area be avoided.
- Ask for additional covering.
- Stop the treatment at any time.
If suitable clothing or consent arrangements cannot be maintained, the treatment may need to be adapted or postponed.

11. Emergency Assistance & Customer Welfare
Customer safety takes priority throughout the appointment.
If staff receive an assistance alert or have a reasonable concern that a customer may be in distress, they may attempt to make contact.
Where there is no response and a genuine welfare concern exists, staff may enter the relevant room after appropriate attempts to alert the customer, or immediately where the emergency requires it.
Staff will respect customer privacy as far as reasonably possible.
Emergency services may be contacted where necessary.
